Hello again! In our previous article we talked about movies that came out in 2015 and here we will say something about movies that came out so far in this year. So let’s get to business.
When we look at the Top 10 of movies that came out so far this year what we definitely can see is that Disney dominates. Disney’s dominion starts with the new sequel of Captain America called ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and continues to Disney’s comedy ‘Finding Dory’, which is actually a sequel to 2003 mega-hit ‘Finding Nemo’, a movie which was second on the Top 10 of highest-grossing movies in 2003, only being surpassed by unbeatable ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. All four Disney hits managed to earn around 4 billion dollars, which marks this year a successful year for Disney (and the year hasn’t finished yet).
Warner Bros. also made it to Top 10 with their ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’, an action brawl-like movie between the two superheroes (because apparently one superhero at time wasn’t enough or something) and Suicide Squad, an anti-hero comic-based sequel-like movie to ‘Batman vs. Superman’.
How will the rest of 2016 be and will Disney launch another hit we will definitely see.
